OUR STORY
Elora Integrative Medicine was founded by Dr. Toni Canton and Dr. Jesslyn Furst, who met as interns and have been friends ever since. Over the past 15 years, they’ve navigated careers in hospitals and clinics while raising three children each. Through it all, they remained connected by a shared vision: to practice medicine that treats the whole person, emphasizes prevention, and supports long-term well-being.
That purpose inspired the creation of Elora Integrative Medicine—an integrative, lifestyle-centered practice grounded in both medical expertise and compassionate care.
Working in collaboration with Dr. Linda Olafson of North Coast Integrative Medicine and Dr. Paula Luber, they’re expanding access to personalized, holistic care for patients, while staying rooted in a shared commitment to treating the underlying causes of illness and supporting lasting health.
JESSLYN FURST, M.D.
TONI CANTON, M.D.
Jesslyn completed her Internal Medicine Residency at Scripps Mercy Hospital in San Diego. With over a decade of experience as a hospitalist, she has taken on leadership roles as Chief of Medicine and medical group site lead. Jesslyn has also pursued additional training in integrative medicine, expanding her ability to approach health with a more comprehensive, whole-person perspective.
Toni earned her medical degree from UC San Diego School of Medicine and completed her Family Medicine Residency at Scripps Chula Vista. She brings over a decade of experience as a dedicated Primary Care Physician in Toronto. Toni has expanded her expertise as a Fellow with the Academy of Integrative Health & Medicine, blending conventional care with a holistic, patient-centered approach.
